La Gabi siempre supo que estaba destinada para los escenarios. Nacida en La Romana, República Dominicana y radicada en Miami desde su juventud, la rapera comenzó su carrera en el 2019 haciendo sus propias versiones de canciones populares y subiendolas a Instagram. Su ímpetu y talento causaron revuelo de inmediato, pero lo que no se imaginaba Gabi era que sus covers llamarían la atención de la superestrella J Balvin. Y cuando J Balvin te llama, coges el teléfono a la velocidad de la luz. “Creo que tener un mentor como el me motiva porque es tan real y humano”, dijo Gabi en entrevista con Popsugar. Tras convertirse en la primera artista firmada en la disquera Balvin, Ma G Nation, Gabi lanzó su primer álbum ‘Orígen’, participó del proyecto ‘hembrismo’ junto a Paopao, Villano Antillano, Aria Vega y Cami Da Baby, y se presentó en los escenarios más grandes de Latinoamérica como el Coca Cola Flow Fest en México, D.F. Su sonido es una mezcla de elementos de su cultura dominicana, como el merengue y el dembow, con géneros como el R&B, dancehall y pop. Con un flow envidiable, La Gabi arrasó nuestra tarima de ctrl con sus presentaciones en vivo de “Chuki” y “Coco”, parte de su más reciente producción, ‘GabiN.E.T.E.’

After becoming the first signee to Balvin's Ma G Nation imprint, Gabi released her ‘Origen’ debut, and was featured on the groundbreaking ‘hembrismo’ EP with Paopao, Villano Antillano, Aria Vega and Cami Da Baby. She also performed in Latin America’s biggest stages, like the legendary Coca Cola Flow Fest in Mexico City. Her sound is a fusion of merengue and dembow, with R&B, dancehall and pop also bubbling in the mix. With an effortless flow, La Gabi set our ctrl stage on fire with her live performances of “Chuki” and “Coco”, part of her latest project, ‘GabiN.E.T.E.’
