Allan Taylor - Winter

The doe breaks the ice on the frozen lake
A snow mist hides the sun
The dark of the night will grow stronger
And winter has begun

Shall I stay and wait out the bitter cold
Shall I travel to warmer climes
As I watch the geese fly to their winter home
I will think on fonder times

Do not worry
Do not fear
I will always be here

A promise can melt the coldest frost
A smile can warm the heart
And words of tenderness whispered in truth
Will carry you through the night

Do not worry
Do not fear
I will always be here

In time the winter will pass
And make way for the warm touch of spring
The forest will sing in the gentle breeze
And life will begin again
Do not worry
Do not fear
I will always be here

Do not worry
Do not fear
I will always be here
