The Origin of The Flash!
If you don't already know, there are about 4+ Flashes. It's most likely that the one that is going to get a film adaptation is going to be Barry Allen. His origin starts as a often late and deliberately slow police scientist. When a lightning bolt strikes the chemicals in the lab and falls on Allen, he realizes that he can move at speeds faster than any human. In reminiscence of his childhood hero, Jay Garrick, he became The Flash! Why It Works!
Well, we're going to need him for the Justice League movie. Besides, The Flash is long overdue for his big screen debut. From what I've seen, the Flash movie is going to be a Green Lantern team up. Uhh....why? I feel comfortable saying that I speak for everyone when I say, The Flash needs his own movie. He doesn't need to be paired with GL at this point in time.
