Justin Bieber Sheds Light on His 'Next Chapter' in Upcoming YouTube Documentary

Justin Bieber is happy, healthy and inspired, and he's ready to show that in a new YouTube Originals documentary event.

YouTube Originals announced on Friday (Oct. 23) Justin Bieber: Next Chapter, a follow-up to the hit 10-episode docuseries, Justin Bieber: Seasons, which chronicled the making of his album, Changes.

This new 30-minute special, which premieres on Oct. 30 at 12 p.m. ET/9 p.m. here, finds Bieber giving a look at his life since quarantine, his relationship with God and how he set himself free of the ties that come with being an artist of his popularity.

In a new preview clip, the pop star explains how he got to be his "best self" after finding himself a bit lost. "There's a lot more confidence in my relationships," he explained. "There was times where I was like, 'Man, is this pain ever going to go away?' I'd rather get away than to be in this cycle. Now, I just have hope in my relationship with God that's not based on fear, that's not based on my past. It's based on who I truly am."

"I want to make content that will inspire and make people happy," he continued. Real secure people add value to people, uplift people, lead with love. I could have avoided a lot of pain. People love a happy ending."

Justin Bieber: Next Chapter reunites Bieber with Seasons director, Michael D. Ratner, who will also executive produce through his OBB Pictures. The documentary is produced by Bieber Time Films, SB Projects and OBB Pictures. Justin Bieber will serve as an executive producer. Scooter Braun, Allison Kaye and Scott Manson will serve as executive producers for SB Projects and Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner and Kfir Goldberg will serve as executive producers for OBB Pictures.

Watch the preview below, where Bieber also chats about his new song "Lonely" and cruises around with "Holy" collaborator Chance the Rapper on bikes.
