Sesame Street is sweeping the clouds away with its star-studded 51st season.
The iconic children's show premieres on Thursday (Nov. 12) for the first time on HBO Max with a number of celebrity guests including Hailee Steinfeld, Maggie Rogers, Issa Rae, Stephen and Ayesha Curry, Billy Porter, and Kelsea Ballerini, who will take part in Street Stories and other segments throughout the season.
Steinfeld is set to appear on the Nov. 26 episode, in which she will join Elmo and Rosita to sing the season’s spirited new anthem, “I Wonder, What If, Let’s Try." The mantra marks the beginning of a two-year curriculum focused on playful problem-solving, designed to help young children handle challenges in school and beyond.
In the song, Steinfeld and her furry friends run out of blocks to build a higher tower. With the “I Wonder, What If, Let’s Try" mantra, they figure out how to use other household objects to continue to tower-building fun.
Sesame Street will also be available on PBS stations, on the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and anytime on the free PBS KIDS Video App.
