Here's Who 50 Cent Says He Would Do a 'Verzuz' Battle With

50 Cent has yet to be scheduled for a Verzuz battle, but he's already named his desired opponent: The Game.

In an interview with Big Boy Tuesday (Nov. 17), the rapper mused at how Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's quarantine creation from March has lasted long after the initial restrictions have been lifted across the country. But he's more impressed with his own career in the rap game, which he's not opposed to honoring in one of the upcoming battles.

"For my time period, there's nothing that can match my run," Fiddy said, before answering "maybe Game" would be his ideal matchup. But under one condition: "You can't play no records with my voice on 'em."

So who gets to perform "Hate It Or Love It," their standout No. 2 Hot 100 hit that credits The Game as the main artist but features vocals from 50 Cent?

"He got some hits, he got some hits, " Fif admitted without directly responding to Big Boy's query about their 2005 smash record. The longtime tension between the two MCs began after 50 Cent started the East Coast hip-hop group G-Unit in 1999 with Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, while The Game joined later in 2003 along with Young Buck. But less than two years later, they began beefing over promotional efforts with The Game's major-label debut album The Documentary, and 50 Cent eventually announced The Game had been kicked out of the group in 2005.

"Look, as much as we argued and fought in the early stages, I would rather see him benefit from the momentum than someone else," 50 Cent said, seemingly coming to a peaceful conclusion. "He's still a part of G-Unit and is going to be a part of the legacy overall."
