Demi Lovato Shows Off Her Most Daring 'Do Yet: See the Half-Buzzed Blonde Haircut

So Demi Lovato "did a thing," and it's her most daring haircut yet: The pop star debuted a half-shaved blonde look in new photos.

Even though she showed off her lengthy black hair on the red carpet at the 2020 E! People's Choice Awards on Sunday, the "Confident" singer debuted long platinum blond locks while hosting the show.

"I did a thing....," she captioned her first Instagram post, which showed the 28-year-old artist running her fingers through her chopped locks that cascaded over her naturally dark undercut. She posted another IG series of her "new new" haircut that showed off her smoky eye makeup and half-leather, half-sheer black coat that complemented her fierce aesthetic.

The photographer, Angelo Kritikos, reposted the images on his own Instagram and hinted that the "I Love Me" singer's bold look signals a "new era" for her. And her famous friends are totally here for it: Lucy Hale, Kerry Washington, Gabrielle Union, Ruby Rose, Nick Viall and more showered her with praise in the comments section, writing, "Gorge" and "Yes boo yes."
