JoJo Siwa Channels Cindy Lou Who in Snowy 'Where Are You Christmas?' Video: Watch

JoJo Siwa unveiled the festive music video for her cover of Faith Hill's "Where Are You Christmas?" on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26).

In the clip, the dancer-turned-YouTube-personality shows off her skills at the piano while wearing an outfit covered in sparkling black and silver beading and matching fur trim.

"Where are you Christmas/ Why can't I find you/ Why have you gone away/ Where is the laughter/ You used to bring me/ Why can't I hear music play/ My world is changing/ I'm rearranging/ Does that mean Christmas changes too," the 17-year-old croons, channeling her inner Cindy Lou Who.

As Siwa reaches the track's pivotal bridge, the Christmas trees surrounding her light up the night and she trades her costume for one made of icy blue crystals.

Co-written by Mariah Carey, "Where Are You Christmas?" first appeared in the 2000 live-action remake of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, where it was sung by Taylor Momsen. While the soundtrack version was originally recorded by Carey, legal issues with her ex-husband and former label head Tommy Mottola prevented the track from being used, and it was instead made famous by Hill.

Siwa's version, meanwhile, appears on her 2020 holiday EP, JoJo's Rockin' Christmas, alongside renditions of "Run Run Rudolph" and "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," as well as peppy original track "It's Christmas Now!"

Upon its Nov. 13 release, the four-track project bowed at No. 17 on Billboard's Kid Albums chart.
