Justin Bieber Says He's Eager to Have a 'Little Tribe' of Kids... Some Day

Justin Bieber has all the time in the world to start a family, but rest assured, he wants to have kids some day with his wife, Hailey Baldwin. In fact, he wants to have a "little tribe" of baby Biebers, but he's letting Hailey take the lead on when all of that will happen.

During a visit to Ellen on Tuesday (Dec. 1), Bieber had a very succinct answer when DeGeneres asked him how many kids he wanted to have and when.

"I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out," Bieber, 26, told her. "I'd love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do. ... I think she wants to have a few."

As for what they're waiting for, Bieber intimated that it's not that they're waiting, but that model Baldwin, 24, "still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think ... she's just not ready yet. And that's okay."

Asked how his Thanksgiving was, Bieber lamented that he couldn't go home for the holiday because of the pandemic, but that he had a nice one thanks to Hailey cooking a delicious turkey, their friends all bringing side dishes and his chef making sure everything was top notch.

He also talked about the new rose tattoo on his neck, explaining that he made up a meaning for it, which is basically about "finding the beauty within the roughness of..." before trailing off when DeGeneres noted out that he was pointing to the wrong side of his neck on camera. Also, he's probably not going to get any more neck ink, because Hailey asked him not to.

And, getting back to the subject of kids, after showing off his full torso tats, he confirmed that he's waiting to cover his back until the couple start a family, with Ellen helpfully suggesting he think about a framed family photo as a subject for the ink. Bieber also dove into the epic road trip back to Canada he and Hailey took on his tour bus during the COVID-19 lockdown, laughing about how they parked in a few "sketchy" RV parks, including one where a random dude just walked onto the bus uninvited, which was not cool.

The wide-ranging interview also touched on Bieber getting trapped in the middle of a lake in Canada on his jet ski in freezing water, his love of beanies -- Ellen gave him a baby blue one -- and how he's growing out his hair Brad Pitt/Legends of the Fall-style.

The singer even returned later in the show to jump for joy and help Ellen with her 12 Days of Giveaways segment.
