Billie Eilish Offers a Peek Into Her Universe With 'The World's a Little Blurry' Trailer

Billie Eilish gave fans a glimpse of her life as an extraordinary 17-year-old with the trailer for her upcoming documentary, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, which she revealed on Tuesday (Dec. 15).

The two-minute clip depicts the "Therefore I Am" singer living the life of any other teenager -- from making up handshakes with brother Finneas to getting her driver's license -- before she's catapulted into the international superstar life that no "safety bells and whistles," her mother Maggie Baird mentions in regards to Eilish's dream car, could ever prepare her for.

Videos of her hugging her idol Justin Bieber at Coachella last year and sweeping the Big Four categories at the Grammys earlier this year flash at the tail-end of the trailer, but one of Eilish's concert monologues rings with a clear message about being in the moment.

"In life, we tend to do things and then we're always looking forward to the next thing when everything is about what's happening right now," she narrates over the instrumental version of her Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Bad Guy." "And this is happening right now. We are never going to be in this moment ever again. So why don't we be in the moment, yeah?"

Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry will premiere in theaters and on AppleTV+ on Feb. 26, 2021. R.J. Cutler (Belushi, The September Issue) directed the Apple Original Films documentary feature, which was produced in partnership with Interscope Films, The Darkroom, This Machine and Lighthouse Management & Media.
