Beyoncé bounces to her first leader on Billboard‘s multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated July 9) with “Break My Soul” (4-1). The track soars following its first full tracking week June 24-30 (after its arrival on Tidal at 9 p.m. ET June 20 and its wide release at midnight June 21).
“Break” reigns with 23 million all-format radio airplay audience impressions June 24-30 (up from 10.7 million June 20-23), 15.6 million U.S. streams (up from 14 million) and 11,000 sold, according to Luminate. It also bounds to No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, likewise becoming Beyoncé’s inaugural leader, and spends a second week at No. 1 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart (after it launched with 22,000 sold in its first three-plus days).
Notably, the song contains elements of Robin S.’s house classic “Show Me Love,” which jumps 20-12 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (500 sold, up 14%), marking its best rank on the chart (which began in 2010).
Concurrently, “Break” takes off on Dance/Mix Show Airplay (37-11).

‘Paris’ Returns: Elsewhere on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” appears for the first time since February 2018, at No. 7, up 1,300% to 1,000 sold. Following the Supreme Court’s June 24 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, “Paris,” with its lyric, “If we go down, then we go down together,” became a rallying cry on TikTok for those in support of abortion rights. The song, from The Chainsmokers’ album Memories…Do Not Open, led the list for four weeks in 2017.
UP AND ‘AWAY’ Elvis Presley and PNAU pop onto Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales at No. 18 with “Don’t Fly Away (PNAU Remix)” (500 sold), earning the late legendary King of Rock & Roll’s first Billboard dance chart appearance. Also PNAU’s initial showing as an artist (with honorable mention to Elton John and Dua Lipa’s “Cold Heart [PNAU Remix],” which has tallied 44 weeks at No. 1 since last August), “Fly” is from the Elvis soundtrack, which bows at No. 1 on the Soundtracks chart and No. 26 on the Billboard 200 (18,000 equivalent album units).
‘Into’ Top 10 Again: Shifting to the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, Doja Cat adds her third top 10 with “Get Into It (Yuh)” (15-10). She previously reached the region with “Say So” (12 weeks at No. 1, April-July 2020) and “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA (No. 3, July 2021). “Get” is drawing a plethora of mix show plays (with the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measuring radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations along with plays during mix shows on around 70 top 40-formatted reporters).
