It remains one of Paul's favourite Orbital moments.
It was written in a linear fashion over a few weeks and they had no idea where it was going or how long it would be.
The majority of the percussion you hear is actually Paul stamping and clapping, within the band stand at Arnold Circus (Shoreditch / London). A place on his daily commute from Columbia Road to the Strongroom Studios
Big sound is the ARP 2600. Roland System 100 features heavily.
Fuelled by the love of US electro from the 80s
It was recorded in full in one take and it was the first time all the synth manipulation was sent live to the DAT.
