First order of business today was a visit to my old friend and hairdresser, Pia Lane. Her and her hairdresser Georgia have been my go-to for years, working their magic on my head for countless events. With the Great Barrier Reef show coming up, it was time to freshen up the pink in my hair, and Georgia was the girl for the job. Amy tagged along to get her blue refreshed — it was her first appointment with Pia, so she was a bit nervous, but she was in great hands.
With my newly vibrant pink head, I decided to treat myself to lunch at one of my old favorite spots, Fat Dumpling. There's nothing quite like some good Dim Sum to hit the spot. After a delicious meal, I headed home for some quality time with Napoleon. He seemed to have forgiven me for my absence, and we enjoyed a playful afternoon together.
Later in the day, I picked up my daughter Madison from school. On the way, we had a delightful surprise—we ran into some puppies being socialized at the shopping center. I couldn't resist capturing a few moments with these adorable doggos of the vloggo.
The evening brought a meet-up with my old friend and personal trainer, Nathan. It was fantastic to catch up, share some laughs, and reminisce about the old times. Nathan always has a way of lifting my spirits.
To wind down, I ended the day with a bit of red light therapy. It's a relaxing way to cap off a busy day and get ready for the adventures ahead.
