Hey everybody! Welcome to THROWBACK TRACKS - the YouTube series where I play demos of songs I wrote with other artists in mind and you let me know if you could see them performing it or if they'd work better for someone else.
Next up is a song I wrote back in 2012 with Ariana Grande or Fifth Harmony in mind called "Hi Definition"! This song is an old favorite of mine, and still my roommate Matt Steele's favorite song I've ever written, I'm pretty sure. This song is definitely the most Mariah-esque of the Throwback Tracks I wanted to share but was a little too pop for her so I was thinking that it could've worked for Ariana Grande or Fifth Harmony at the time. Do you think it would've worked better for Ariana or 5H in 2012? Who could record it today? Let me know in the comments!
