MELISSA MANCHESTER'S new single, a re-imagined recording of her classic hit "COME IN FROM THE RAIN," is her optimistic message of gratitude in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Originally released in 1976, reborn in 1982, this song is perhaps the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter's most covered composition, with recordings by other artists like The Captain & Tennille, Rosemary Clooney, Peggy Lee and Diana Ross. MANCHESTER returned to the studios of Citrus College, where she is Artist In Residence, for this intimate remake of the enduring classic she co-wrote with her friend, the wonderful and deeply talented Carole Bayer Sager.
