Want to learn more? Watch the Change Makers episode “A city repurposed, Berlin”, including an interview with Ellen Allien, that shows E.ON’s commitments to city spaces and culture, and how smarter, sustainable solutions for our shared future are being built - right now. Heating and cooling large cities is responsible for 35% of CO2 emissions. Limited space for solar, wind and other renewable energy sources means that rethinking, recycling and repurposing existing spaces and energy is essential to make a difference. Berlin is a prime example of this, with so many of its world famous clubs, galleries and public spaces which are repurposed.
