After being blown away by Andra Day acting out her spectacular portrayal of Billie Holiday in “The US vs. Billie Holiday” I felt inspired to sing one of my favourites from Lady Day, ‘I’m A Fool To Want You.’
Billies voice has the ability to capture the emotions within a song with such a moving rawness that always cuts through to the core, as she displayed the complexity of her pain and heart in song. A true rare gem within our history of music!
