In September 1987, Steven Halpern was invited to be part of an historic conference of writers, filmmakers and musicians from the US and USSR and perform in a major concert with jazz/new age artist Paul Horn, jazz singer Dianne Reeves and many Russian musicians. They performed this concert at the Moscow Conservatory of Music in the Hall of Composers.

Steven's performance was preceded by a mime (for the first and only time). You can see the mime adjusting the microphone. Read behind-the scenes stories, and the perils of performing in concert while battling an extreme bout of dysentery in Steven Halpern's upcoming memoir.
