come close, hear my plan

plant the seed, twist the truth
he came to you that night
and told you that he yearns for her
in the afterlife
he waits tonight...

Lavinia:

I understand, it must be done
I’m sure that we are right
her guilty words still resonate
like echoes in my mind

I’m well aware a fortune awaits
passed on by right of birth
but dreams of wealth... her legacy
is not where my motive lies
not the reason why
although... it does help…
