"I wrote the song 'Lemon Yellow Sun', about Italy. Also inspired by a beautiful Italian girl, of course, from Prato. I travelled by train from Firenze to Stuttgart and wrote the song on the train. When I arrived back in Stuttgart, Beth Hart had just finished recording, so the studio had a great vibe. 'Lemon Yellow Sun' was then born.”

“She”, one of the most beloved Ray Wilson & Stiltskin’s album, was anticipated by the lead single “Lemon Yellow Sun”, which turns 15 just in these days: it was early spring 2006, and everyone pre-ordering the album, was gifted with a free digital download of the song.
A track written with Uwe Metzler, that was also the first taste of what would be the return of Stiltskin (in a new formation) and their first studio album in 12 years.
“Lemon Yellow Sun” became a hit here and there, and a real “classic”, always played - and inevitable - in every Ray’s concert.
We celebrate today this beautiful song with some very positive vibes: here’s a new official lyric video to say “happy 15th birthday” to one of your most favorite track ever!
