However, the tumultuous events surrounding the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, 2022, necessitated a postponement. In response to the crisis, Kamaliya redirected her creative energies, delivering ten patriotic songs, including the heartfelt anthem "Be Brave, Like Ukraine."
Since February 2023, with a semblance of stability returning and the Ukrainian armed forces courageously confronting Russian aggression, Kamaliya has broadened her repertoire, venturing into non-patriotic themes. She has unveiled three new tracks: the Urdu/Hindi single "Pretty Girl" on February 14th, 2023, the English hit "Time Out" on July 28th, 2023, and a Punjabi duet featuring Sahir Ali Bagga from Pakistan, "Latthay Di Chaadar." On 15th January 2024.
"Break Me Down" has been meticulously produced in Sweden by the renowned music producer Simon Jacobsson, collaborating with songwriters Malin Johansson & Thomas Harsem.
