Often without due ‘credits’ given to the origin.
This was a popular tune & hook from UP, North India before it made its way into films.
Firstly in Dushmani as ‘Banno Teri Akhiyan Soorme Daani’ then in this avataar in
‘Tannu Weds Mannu’.
I have performed the local original on stage while growing up.
