Roger Williams challenged himself to compose a concerto around the few basic notes of the popular song, Chopsticks. Roger took her Chopsticks to the next level with his “A Concerto for Chopsticks”. Euphemia Amelia Nightingale Allen (July 11, 1861–Nov 9, 1948) was the Scottish composer of "The Celebrated Chop Waltz," aka "Chopsticks" at the age of 16, under the pseudonym Arthur de Lulli since it was "improper" for women to author. It was her only published piece, for both solo and duet and named as such because it strikes the keys with a chopping motion.
