REMASTERED CLIP - The sexy vocal powerhouse veteran, Dame Shirley Bassey, dressed to the 9's, delivers a stunning Royal Variety Performance! She performs the songs, 'Light My Fire" and "I Am What I Am". Shirley selected this dress because it had sequins that sparkled when it hit the lights. She was slightly disappointed that as she thought the dress would sparkle more than it did. However, when upscaling this video to 4K, the dress actually does shine!!
Shirley Bassey recorded and released "Light My Fire" on her 1970 album titled, 'Shirley Bassey - Something'. This LP peaked at #5 in the UK Charts, #23 in the Netherlands, and #29 in the USA.

LYRICS - Light My Fire:
You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Boy, we couldn't get much higher
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose
And our love becomes a funeral pyre
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
The time to hesitate is through
No time to wallow in the mire
Try now we can only lose A
nd our love becomes a funeral pyre
Come on baby, light my fire
Come on baby, light my fire
Try to set the night on fire
Come on baby, light my fire

LYRICS - I Am What I Am:
I am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook or the ovation
It's my world
That I want to have a little pride in
My world
And it's not a place I have to hide in
Life's not worth a damn
Till you can say
I am what I am
I am what I am
I don't want praise I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise I think it's pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle
Your life is a sham
Till you can shout out
I am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
It's one life and there's no return and no deposit
One life so it's time to open up your closet
Life's not worth a damn till you can shout out
I am what I am
