The White Stripes performing “We’re Going To Be Friends” live for students of Freeman’s Bay Primary School in New Zealand in October 2003. The White Stripes tour manager at the time was a close personal friend of the principal of the school. Jack and Meg provided a nice primer on American blues history and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves in this sweet, innocent performance which was previously released as part of the Under New Zealand Lights Vault Package and helped to herald the release of the “We’re Going To Be Friends” children’s picture book in 2017.
