Greetings friends. It has been a while.
Last November I had open heart surgery, and am in the 4th month of recovery.
I knew for most of 2024 that this was coming. In the months before the surgery I wrote and recorded 13 songs.
And on the 23rd of may 2025, I will release the record with these songs. It is my 70th birthday that day.
The album will be called A Second Wind.

The first 500 copies sold will be signed.
And the digital version of the cd will be available as download on May 23rd.

Birdsong, Birdman is the first song from the new record A Second Wind.
In 2024 I saw Sean Ronayne on television. It was a documentary called Birdsong.
I was so taken by this great Corkman, and his love of birds, and his work to record them.
This is a song in his honour.
