Aaron Shust’s new song Majestic (Psalm 8) is one of 10 Psalms on his 10th full-length album entitled Heaven + Earth.

This Psalm of David praises God for His majesty in Creation, and the special place He granted to humanity within His Creation. However, New Testament authors recognized this Psalm as Messianic as well (see I Cor 15:27, Eph 1:22, Heb 2:6-9), identifying the "Son of Man" in this Psalm as a prophetic reference to the Messiah, more specifically Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth.*

I took a walk under the stars on the January night I wrote this song in 2022. I got a crick in my neck from staring at the night sky while I walked, singing these ancient words to the Maker of Heaven + Earth over and over. I knew it would become one of my favorites.
