One of a series of short 'noise movies' that I shot from the stage during improvisational moments at SY concerts in 2004-5. Trying to capture the chaotic excitement of our performance from an on-stage point of view. Billed as "Other Sides of Sonic Youth", this one was shot at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. We were joined for the set by our friends Mats Gustafson and Merzbow. This was a unique performance. SY played our own 'song' set at the festival the day prior.
