This is a short documentary that chronicles Wild Child's recording sessions with Scott McMicken of Dr. Dog as part of the making of the album "Expectations."

From Alexander Beggins of Wild Child - "The first session was in Philadelphia at Dr. Dog's studio (Mt. Slippery) with Scott McMicken. It was magical. He taught us not to be too precious about any particular idea for a song, and just let them come out naturally. We inverted chords, slowed tunes down to maddening bpm’s and played with all the weird instruments/gadgets laying around the studio until we finished two songs: Goodbye, Goodnight and 1996. In between the music making we had some very intense razor scooter races and nerf basketball competitions (which I believe we still hold the record for longest documented shot). The AC was broken for a few days which made some hilariously sweaty takes and bitching from some of the band (Just Alexander). There is also all the Dr. Dog memorabilia in the world in the studio that would make your heart explode (ours did). We had just gotten off the road with them and were so excited to work with someone we loved as much as Scott. Although his name is no longer Scott-we dubbed his producer alter ego’s name LACE. He got into character. LACE 2020"
