Little Baxter passed on to the Rainbow Bridge on January 20, 2021, he had turned 16 on January 13, 2021. He has been my friend for almost 16 years. This video is from 2015. Baxter sees a big rabbit and is unsure of what to do! Baxter has always been a very friendly dog with no aggression. Beagles were bred to hunt rabbits, and I'm sure that is in his DNA. But I don't think he had ever seen a rabbit before. In this area, some people have been dropping off their domestic rabbits thinking they were doing a humane thing. But there are coyotes in the area and these particular rabbits have been domesticated and don't show much fear.
