Interesting facts about this track:

Blinded by rage, Will does not realize they reincarnated back to the same night it all began in 1879. He chases Adam and fights him on the Westminster Bridge. Will finally defeats Adam but asks himself if all of this made any difference, since "The Vanishing" is inevitable anyway (since it already happened in the future, it must happen in this timeline as well). He realises Adam is also just a link in the eternal chain of incarnations and that his future incarnations (although unknowingly) will inherit some of his evil nature. This means all people who ever lived and will live, are one and the same person who incarnates billions of times. As such, our world will always be in continuously fluctuating balance between the two extremities "good" and "evil", that collided once, on this bridge over the Thames in the year 1879.

One of the last tracks written, but it was already known for a long time in the concept as “most aggressive track of the album”

This song is written by Sven (Deckers) and while we _were_ rehearsing it, it was never played live. Solo also by Sven D. Not sure if people picked up on it, but we were heavily into Emperor's 'Prometheus' album at the time of writing this one.

It features the 2nd half of "Foreboding" as a bridge, only in another key.

Features one of Tomme’s most crazy drumrolls at 3:19, followed by our worst transition on the album ... it should have resembled a stuttering record ...

Lyrics:

Upon this bridge the fate of many is sealed
Confronting the collision of future and past
I face the demon that once sheltered within

Into times bygone - into torment’s reign
I have let my eyes to witness to see
Times incarceration to a certain degree

Under the crimson light of the motorised moon
I face the one who’s been cast out of darkened times

Nightly horrors have stained red the soil
The lights bleed upon the river beneath
As I am forever reborn, never a burial
So will the fallen rise, another circle complete

Rise - never a burial
Rise - complete is the circle

Upon this bridge the fate of many was sealed
Benumbed by the collision of future and past
I have faced the I identity that once sheltered within me
