#100daysofpractice day 21. Groups of 5 over 4/4 with Charleston left hand, improvising over Solar modulating up a 1/2 step every chorus. The groups of 5 cross-rhythm lines up every 5th chorus, so: at the top, on the Fmin chorus, and on the Bbmin chorus. The goal is to make nice melodies within these constraints. Listening back, even though the rhythms are correct, this feels a bit hectic & I’d like to work on getting it more relaxed.
