Moving (Supergrass cover) - Nerina Pallot

Hailing from Oxford, Supergrass released their third, eponymously titled album in 1999. 'Moving' was the second single from the album and not a day went by from its release where I didn't want to listen to it. I think maybe I had them down as a fun times cheeky chappy lads band and then 'Moving' broke my heart and I properly fell in love with them as a band.

It has everything I love about a proper pop song. All the feels, immediately memorable, sus chords, disco bass, slinky ride cymbal in the chorus, quirky harmony - what's not to love. It's basically dream pop without realising it is.

No animals were harmed in the making of this, but one poor violin certainly was.
