Hommage à Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké (Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥabīb Allāh) dit Khadimou ar-Rassoul (en arabe : « serviteur privilégié du Prophète » et Serigne Touba (chef religieux, fondateur de Touba), né le 1853 à Mbacké-Baol, et mort le 19 juillet 1927 à Ndiareme diourbel, est un musulman sunnite, théologien asharite, juriste maléquite fondateur de sa propre voie soufi. Il est l’une des figures les plus importantes du soufisme de la région du Sénégal en qualité de fondateur de la confrérie des Mourides. Il fut également un poète en langue arabe. Il marqua l'histoire de son pays dans le contexte de la colonisation française.
Ahmadou Bamba Mbacke (Wolof: Ahmadu Bamba Mbacke, Arabic: أحمد بن محمد بن حبيب الله Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥabīb Allāh, 1853–1927)[1] also known to followers as Khādimu 'al-Rasūl (خادِم الرسول) or "The Servant of the Messenger" and Serigne Touba or "Sheikh of Tuubaa", was a Sufi saint (Wali) and religious leader in Senegal and the founder of the large Mouride Brotherhood (the Muridiyya).
Mbacke produced poems and tracts on meditation, rituals, work, and Quranic study. He led a pacifist struggle against the French colonial empire travelling across the Atlantic ocean while not waging outright war on the French like several prominent Tijani marabouts had done.
