This song is based on a piano melody that has been with me for years. It's gone through many iterations, but I was never able to move on from the piano recording used here: me, picking out the melody on an old (out of tune) family piano. So often I will make a quick demo recording of a piece of music, and then be completely unable to part with it in favour of something cleaner and better-recorded. Oh well.
