#onthisday Ray flew back to London from the US to overdub the original lyrics of 'Lola'. The BBC wouldn't play the track as it included the brand name 'Coca Cola', so Ray flew back from their US tour to overdub the lyric 'cherry cola'. The song was their last single to get a UK top ten.
