Ent Mogul #AndreHarrell’s Fnl Interview The Kenny Burns Show #TKBS #UpTownRecords #AlBSure #DrJekyll

The late Iconic Entertainment Mogul, CEO and Founder of the Modern day boutique Hip-Hop version of Motown Records organically dubbed “UpTown Records” Mr. Andre Harrell formerly of the rap duo Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde, best friend and protege of Def Jam Recordings founder Russell Simmons goes down memory lane with Ent Exec & host of TKBS on IG, Mr. Kenny Burns for the finale’. I was truly honored to be a part of this historic label along with the hand picked, quintessential artist roster including DJ Eddie F and Heavy D and the Boyz, Teddy Riley & GUY, Mary J Blige, Christopher Williams, Monifah, Jeff Redd, JODECI, Father MC, Groove B. Chill, Crystal Johnson, Finesse & Synquis, Horace Brown, Key West, The Gyrlz, Little Shawn, Lady Kazan, McGruff, Nesto Valesquez, The Notorious BIG, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Lost Boyz, Brothers Black, Woody Rock, Evan Olson and yours truly Al B. Sure! to name a few. It is an honor to be the 1st billboard R&B #1 and 1st Platinum selling UpTown artist of the label. Sitting with Dre, Paxton Baker (Former head of Centric BET) at the Sunset Marquis in LA the day of the 2020 Grammys and sudden passing of NBA great Kobe Bryant. We were all intensely discussing the long overdue, upcoming UpTown Records, 3 night docuseries on BET over chicken and waffles, lox, bagels and some OJ. In typical, unselfish Andre fashion we went from his docuseries to discussing his roll as exec producer of “The Al B. Sure! Life Story” and how his series would serve as the “Marvel Comics” version to spawn all of his superhero artists life stories to come. All of that being said, I’m forever grateful that Andre believed in these kids from $ Earnin’ Mount Vernon! Rest In Peace my friend, Rest In Peace. / Addition footage and interview Production by Al B. Sure! for New Jack Sexy Pictures. DISCLAIMER.
