Patch From Scratch #2 - Random Resampling Rack using LFO in Ableton Live | CONFORCE

Patch From Scratch #2 - Making a Random Re-sampler in Ableton Live | CONFORCE

This is a new series where I will give you insights in how I make presets, instruments or custom racks in Ableton Live. This time I show you how to resample drum loops making a combined rack with Simpler, Max4Live, LFO and the ML-185 sequencer device. By slicing a drumloop you can trigger the parts in various ways, I show you how to setup a random trigger setup using LFO. This is a nice semi-modular approach, you find similar devices in for example an Elektron Octatrack. I show you how easy it is to setup a self generating re-triggering patch. The sound doesn't count here but it's the idea!
It's more showing you that you can look at Live as a semi-modular environment using these type of tools and approaches to get movement going in a patch...
