Change, evolve, grow. Change, evolve, grow. That's the only mantra for artists, and it's one that Rebecca Black has subscribed to since we first met her in 2011. That's when her delightfully kitschy viral hit "Friday" put the then-13-year-old on everyone's radar. Since...well, change, evolve, grow. From ballads like "The Great Divide" to bops like "Sweetheart," her music has steadily blossomed. 2021's 'Rebecca Black Was Here' was cool mix of all her interests, and with its follow-up 'Let Her Burn,' the the queer Mexican-American singer's seems to start over once again. With song titles such as "Erase You," "Destroy Me," and "Misery Loves Company," the record addresses the pitfalls of romance and the solutions for keeping oneself emotionally intact. The 25-year-old hit our studio to knock out a performance of "Look At You," and she rode its swoops and curves like a pro.
