Kat's album DREAMERS DO tells a story for those who dream of a different path in life.
Kat has re-imagined twelve songs from the mid-twentieth century, ten of them DISNEY songs. She also includes two well-placed originals. The story of Dreamers Do takes place over the course of one, sleepless night.
A question gets raised in Kat’s vulnerable original, “Too Late to Dream”:
“Are the messages we receive about following our dreams as children relevant through our adult life?”
The album explores the shared human struggle with daring to dream, illuminating a range of emotional and psychological consequences along the way.
Dreamers Do is up for GRAMMY® consideration in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered, Non-Classical Album, as well.
