Man, I have always loved the sweet, laid-back tone of Martin's 000 guitars, and their new "Whiskey Sunset" 000-17 model is perfect for that country blues fingerstyle playing. It looks, feels, and sounds like a vintage Martin, and is surprisingly one of the more affordable American-made Martin models. I added the L. R. Baggs M80 soundhole pickup, which sounds big, fat, and smooth as butta!
