Kalungi Solomon -w- John Bowman - Better Times Will Come (Janis Ian)

I’d asked one of my favorite venues, The Stables of Milton Keynes, if they had any artists who might become involved with this project. John Bowman runs a recording studio for young people there and is heavily involved in education and community engagement, while Kalungi Solomon is based in Kampala, Uganda. Despite being unable to meet because of Covid-19 restrictions, John reached out to Kalungi and they managed to create this piece long distance. Yet again, proof that music has no borders, and artists will somehow find one another, regardless.
