Mercury Ocean is a song written about a fantastical calm-before-the-storm day in Wales I experienced. It was about 30 Celcius, there was not a speck of a breeze, so much so that the ocean didn't even have a ripple to show where water began and sky started. Everything was white, and then big fat rain drops fell and plopped seemingly in mid air. I never captured that day, other than in the form of this song.
