I have to admit. I have not played any bass for like 2 weeks...eek! I mean, I've recorded a bass part here and there but that's not really playing. That's recording. Different intention. Today I picked up the bass and spent some quality time with her, remembering what it used to feel like when I was discovering all the cool techniques there were and just going for it.
Working on getting my groove back. I've been in producer mode.
I need to practice but I wanted to share this video with all the people who don't think we practice, that we just pick up the bass bam, it's all there.
It's close because I've spent years working on it but, it's not quite there.
I know. I make mistakes. My timing is a little off in spots, my technique a bit rusty. It suffers when I don't practice. So, here's me being a bit vulnerable. Don't be too mean in the comments... You know how yall can be. ;).
