Amadeus is one of the most appreciated electric quartets worldwide. Their constant and ingenious combining of classical and modern elements has certified this group as one of the most famous artists in classical crossover music.

Their mission has always been bringing the youth close to classical music, inspiring them to start learning how to play an instrument. Amadeus is proud to be a Yamaha Europe Artist.

In 2000, they were among the first in the world to use electric string instruments to achieve the perfect blend of classical and modern, thus creating a new musical style. They gained popularity in Romania first, and very soon, they went internationally, where the band rocked big stages in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Amadeus has released six albums with original music and also plays instrumental arrangements of well-known classical, movie themes, pop, and rock.

The last album with original music, Joy, written by Xenti Runceanu, is a musical mirror of each of the four Amadeus members. It has 14 pieces and belongs to the new age musical genre, with musical influences that have been present for years in the music of Amadeus – cinematic, gospel, contemporary classical, and the traditional music of various cultures.

They made their USA debut in the summer of 2022, and they're coming again in August 2023 for two other concerts at Meadow Brook Hall, Rochester, Michigan. Joining Amadeus will be their band members since 2014, Xenti Runceanu – Keyboard, Songwriter, Music Director and Radu Moldovan – Drums and Percussions.
