This one goes out to all the pioneers out there…
I don’t mean like pulling a hand cart or covered a wagon with a bonnet… tho they showed us the way.
But mean for anyone felt called to leave your home, your family, your comfort zone, to go forge a path that doesn’t yet exist…
to a whole new land where you don’t know anybody to do a thing that you know in your heart you have to do. And it requires you to often chase your fears head on into all of the unknowns…
That’s my own story…
I knew that California is where I needed to be to do what I needed to do… in the land the dreamers, the Artists, the music makers.
And I remember the day I packed up the jeep and hugged my family and left Arizona and that was sad. For me and for them. To this day is hard to not live close to my family, especially as I’ve had kids and there is no one out here with us. No grandparents or cousins. It’s only a six hour drive but there are many sundays I wish we could just hop in the car and drive 5 minutes to my parents for dinner. And when my mom got Cancer, what I would have given to live right around the corner.
honestly many times I’ve questioned my decision to come to California and do all the things I’ve done. it’s not easy. It’s scary. It brings out all the insecurities. It’s a grind. And heartbreaking at times.
But also, it’s growth, it’s progression. Its learning. It’s creating things that didn’t exist. Its possibility. Its adventure. It’s facing the fears and becoming the best version of myself. It’s meeting people that help me expand beyond my limited perspectives. It’s collaboration and connection. It’s showing up and contributing to the world so that we can raise the vibration and make it a better place for each other.
And for all of that, I’m all in on the pioneer path 🌻❤️🩹🙏
