You can listen to "Think of Me Softly" on any music site at ❤️ This month's single release is very special to me and I'd like to share the story behind the song with you: The day of my Great Grandma’s passing last year, I wrote a song written from the perspective of a loved one singing from beyond the grave to comfort those they’ve left behind. I never intended on sharing this song with anyone, however, last month my Grandma also passed away and I immediately knew that I needed to share “Think of Me Softly” with the world.
The voice at the end of the song is audio from a video that my mom recorded during one of her last visits to see my grandma in North Carolina. It was meant to be a simple message for me and my siblings—just Grandma saying she loved and missed us. But listening to it now, it feels like she somehow knew those words would take on a deeper meaning after she was gone.
Coping with loss is a universal human experience, one that can feel incredibly isolating, even though it’s something that all of us inevitably experience in some way or another throughout our lives. May this song serve as a reminder that the love of those you've lost lives on and is carried within you forever.♥️ All my love. Thank you for listening and supporting my music!
