Here is a tribute to the state I love so much... come one, come y’all! My roots made me who I am. I love those muddy waters running through my veins. Louisiana Tourism has been traveling with me for quite some time. It’s an honor to keep the heritage and culture of our state alive and robust.
“You Are My Sunshine” was written by our late governor, Jimmy Davis. If you get a chance, look up all of the lyrics. It’s a song of sorrow, love, and longing, yet feels like a familiar friend from one generation to the next...
