Vinodh is a devoted father, a loyal friend and… a Tiger man. This is a film of epic intimacy, a rare glimpse into a man and his remote community as they come together in a visceral and immersive ritual. Themes of identity, spirituality and cultural tradition are explored through the spectacular lens of the ancient Tiger man festival in Thrissur, India.
‘Tigerman’ is a short film by Lisa Gunning featuring the song of the same name from Goldrapp’s 2017 album Silver Eye for its soundtrack, with Will and Alison among the team of Executive Producers. The film received a Special Mention at the Mumbai Film Festival in December 2020.
