“yellow notepad” was written when my ex & i had just broken up. it was our first time having no communication after being together and talking everyday for 2 years. i didn’t know what to do with myself. i had so many moments where i just wanted to break the silence & text her, but i knew it wasn’t the right thing to do since we were both moving on/healing from each other. so i’d go in my notes app on my phone, & type a text message as if i was going to send it. i realized i was writing in my notes app every night before bed as if i was gonna send it to her. it was hard, but it became a good habit to let my thoughts out. my “YELLOW NOTEPAD” really got me thru that tough time 📝🤍
